Art in Motion Dance Studio was established in 2005 by Diane Niefer Caporella, a lifelong resident of the Marple Newtown community. Miss Diane began dancing since the age of 3 and has been dancing ever since then. Miss Diane has studied with many legendary dance teachers in New York City as well as all over the East Coast including Finis Yuong, Charles Kelley, Frank Hatchett and many more. She has attended classes at Broadway Dance Center, Koresh Dance Company, Philadanco, Philadelphia Civic Ballet, Pennsylvania Centre for Ballet, and many others. She is also a delegate of National Dance Week and a proud partner of the National Dance Foundation, International Teachers of Dance, Dance Studio Owners Association, Twinkle Star Dance Association and many more. She continues to attend dance conferences throughout the country each year to bring the best of dance education to our students. Her career as a dance educator and choreographer is boundless with over 700 performance credits and has choregraphed over 3,500 dances, many of which have been televised and awarded. Her studio has performed in over 50 parades and over 500 performances with television credits that are too many to mention. She has also produced other dancers and teachers in the local community. As a dance studio owner for 20 years, she is blessed to teach many second generation students. Art in Motion offers dance classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary/modern, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theater and hip hop, with highly qualified faculty that inspires and challenges each and every student!  

Art in Motion Dance Studio strives to provide a positive and inclusive environment to every dancer, whether they take 1 class a week or 5 classes a week. Our goal is to have every student feel the joy and beauty of dance while gaining physical and emotional well being! We believe in kindness, inclusion and community. Art in Motion is not only a dance studio, but a dance family! Every one of our students are shining stars - We work hard to make this happen with personalized instruction and many outside performance opportunities throughout the year!
